Dermapen™ is a revolutionary micro-needling device which uses the natural rejuvenating power of our own skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. It works to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin, visibly improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, surgical, acne and trauma scars.
The micro-needling pen will gently glide over the skin penetrating up to a depth of 2mm, in doing so creating thousands of tiny micro channels which encourages the body to react through the formation of new elastin and collagen fibres, when the skin responds in such a way it thickens and plumps which in turn minimises the appearance of fine lines, pores, uneven skin tone, scarring and pigmentation.

What can I expect during my Dermapen™ treatment?
The skin is cleaned and then an anaesthetic cream is applied to ensure the treatment is comfortable. Hyaluronic acid and vitamin rich serums will be used throughout the treatment to enhance results. The Dermapen™, which has a sterile disposable tip, will then be used to pierce the skin, creating micro-channels, which will aid hyaluronic acid absorption and in turn stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The device’s multi-speed setting and adjustable needle depth ensures every area of the face is reached. Following the treatment a soothing vitamin rich gel is applied along with a hydration mask to heal, hydrate and protect the skin. It is common to experience mild redness for 24-48 hours post treatment.
How quickly will I see results from the treatment?
After roughly one week you will start to notice brighter, tighter, smoother glowing skin. However it takes several months to see the full treatment benefits.
How often will the treatment need to be repeated?
The micro-needling treatment can be repeated safely every 4-6 weeks until desired results are achieved. When reducing the appearance of scarring 3-5 treatments are recommended. For collagen induction and general rejuvenation best results will be seen from a course of 3 treatments. Different factors will affect the number of treatments necessary, including how each individual reacts to treatment and the degree of damage at the outset.
